MultRegIntervals
Computes a confidence interval for a predicted value from a multiple linear regression. The results are stored in stat variables such as stat.ME.
Syntax
MultRegIntervals Y,X1[,X2[,X3,…[,X10]]],XValList[,CLevel]

- Statistics
- Arguments
- Takes the y list, one to ten x lists, a list of x values for the prediction and an optional confidence level.
- Availability
- Included
- Origin
- On the TI-89 Titanium this command comes with the preinstalled Stats/List Editor app
Example
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| MultRegIntervals {3,5,7,10,12},{1,2,3,4,5},{2,1,4,3,5},{3,3},0.95:stat.ME | 0.687826586507 |
Typing MultRegIntervals {3,5,7,10,12},{1,2,3,4,5},{2,1,4,3,5},{3,3},0.95:stat.ME on the home screen and pressing ENTER returns 0.687826586507.
